Chopping at the Bits

Margie has been chopping at the bits eager to get back into the swing of things since her trip to the Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks.  She is still on cloud nine about showing off her hat in the Longines Fashion Show and the opportunity to see hats, hats and more hats. She was also able to pick up some trims for a gatsby or wedding look.  She can hardly wait to start on those.  There are several events around town where they suggest wearing hats.....please send those folks our way.  We love designing something special just for them.  If you want something "off the rack". We have those too.

Graduation, weddings, tea parties in your future?  We currently have some very special pieces that would make you look wonderful.  Stop on by.

Yesterday, Margie was on a live stream from Lincoln, NE with Kathy McKillip, head of the Nebraska Tourism organization.  Kathy spoke about the Passport Program that Springfield Artworks was selected to participate in.  Over 400 applied and 80 were selected including Glenn and Margie's Gallery/Boutique Springfield Artworks and hat shop, Margie Trembley Chapeaux. Margie shared info with the host about how she got started into millinery and a little bit about the process and how she comes up with her design ideas.

Margie continues to work on her hat corner at the gallery....not finished yet....work in progress, but still available to consult with her customers in the private space. Check it out.

Omaha Fashion Week continues to draw closer. Margie is working fast and furious on her designs.

We love meeting new people and making friends.  Please stop by during our regular hours. Tues-Frid 10-5, Saturday 10-4:30. If by chance you need a little gift for someone special, we can help you decide on that too.  The welcome mat is out!
